Publication Ladder 

This is how we track the progress of publishing work that is submitted by members of the student body or Siren staffers.  Refer to workflows for more on when and how this ladder is updated.

To add a row for a new submission, right click (on touch pad, control + click) on the upper left cell.  Choose Row > Insert Row Before.  Always insert new rows at the top.

Options for status of submission (please don't type in the text that's in parentheses): 

Print options:  Reviewed and accepted(read by editor and accepted for publication), Returned for revision / changes, Revised, Editing, Edited -- Ready for final edit, Finished (final edit complete), Posted, Rejected, Tabled

Other media: 

Works of art:  Reviewed and accepted, Comments back to artist, Scanned (if it's a non-digital work of art),  Prepared for web (sized appropriately and placed in finished folder with teaser),   Posted, Rejected, Tabled

Photo essay: Reviewed and accepted, Text to editor,  Text returned for revision, Text revised and finished, Photos prepared for web (sized appropriately and placed in finished folder), Posted, Rejected, Tabled

Video:  Reviewed and accepted, Comments back to student, Editing, Edited, Finished, Posted, Podcast (if put on podcast feed), Rejected, Tabled

Audio: Reviewed and accepted, Comments back to student, Editing, Edited, Finished, Posted, Podcast (if put on podcast feed), Rejected, Tabled
